Sketch and Cafe is a 'bi-monthly', (twice a month [not every two months]), sketch and social event Catherine Booth and I host in Manchester. This is all managed and was started by Jenny Ho, creator in chief, who is puppeteering my strings from far away.  

The meet is held in cafés, museums, galleries and any other terrific places our wonderful city is hiding so long as coffee and pencils are somewhat close. We welcome all skill levels enthusiastically. Sessions start with some loose observation exercises to warm the pencils up, then some even looser creative exercises so the pencil is now beginning to ignite the paper and use it as kindling, and then finish with some unrestricted play after the sketcher, still brandishing their trusted burning pencil, has been properly undisciplined and fully wilded.

And coffee.
